Situated at a distance of 111 km from Dehradun, 105 km from Mussoorie and 26 km from Chakrata, Tiger Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the hilly region of Uttarakhand. Tiger Falls is also known locally as Kerao Pachad and Kailu Pachad. It is one of the important places around Dehradun At an elevation of 1395 m above sea level, this waterfall falls from a height of 50 m. The water of this magnificent fall is collected in a small pond. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing bath in the pool. Tiger Falls is a popular tourist attraction in and around Chakra During the monsoons, Tiger Falls can be seen in its full glory. Tiger Falls Chakrata - 1 km trekking along the 25 km road drive on the Lakhamandal route. In addition, travelers can reach the Tiger Falls by traveling 5 km through the forest from Chakrata. The trekking route takes travelers through dense forests of rhododendrons and oak trees. Tiger Falls is not a well-developed tourist destination and attracts relatively small crowds. The road from Chakrata to Tiger Falls is rough and narrow, making it ideal for SUVs and heavy vehicles. There are no shops around the falls and it is suggested to carry enough water and food.
